Cactus

The cactus pear brings me to when I used to visit my home country in the Summer. Old wooden carts carrying vibrant, bright-colored, juice-filled, sugarwater-oozing flesh and the sparkle of the sun’s glare on a merchant’s everlasting smile.

I tasted heaven on earth.

May He revive you.

Your flesh, sweet and alive.
